Cash announced his presence as a major literary talent with his critically acclaimed debut novel, A Land More Kind Than Home (2012), which garnered comparisons to such classics as To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, and A Separate Peace. His second effort, the best-seller This Dark Road to Mercy was hailed as "darkly mesmerizing" by O Magazine upon its release in 2014.
