The Bay Village Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library is a 15,000 square foot facility built in 1981. After extensive renovations in 1997, the building now houses over 100,000 items. Features include a meeting room with a capacity of 100 and a smaller conference room, both available to non-profit community groups. An ever-changing Discovery Garden, gift of former employee Mary Louise Herthneck, graces our front entrance.

Since 1961, the Friends of the Bay Village Library has played a significant role in the life of the library. Working hand-in-hand with the Branch Manager and library staff, the group acts as an advocate in the community, sponsors speakers and programs, and enhances the library facility through a variety of purchases.
