Join us for a discussion of Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout. At the edge of the continent, in the small town of Crosby, Maine, lives Olive Kitteridge, a retired schoolteacher who deplores the changes in her town and in the world at large but doesn't always recognize the changes in those around her.
The unique structure that houses the Olmsted Falls Branch is just one of the charming benefits of being part of the city's Historic District. The library is within walking distance of the popular Grand Pacific Junction, a collection of shops and restaurants that reflect life as it was 100 years ago. The starting point for the Village Park nature trail is directly across the street, and a popular pedestrian covered bridge spanning Plum Creek is next door.
