Come to the library and make a poetry flag. Poems on the Wind is a summer long project. Write your own poem or share your favorite poem with others. You supply the creativity -- we'll supply the materials. All flags will be on display at the library throughout the summer. On September 18, they will be strung around Bedford Commons as part of "The Weekend of the Pooka - A Celebration of the Arts."
The Southeast Branch serves the communities of Bedford, Bedford Heights, Oakwood Village and Walton Hills. The library strives to meet the diversified needs of the communities through community-responsive programs and collection development. We are recognized as a branch with a strong African-American literature collection, Christian fiction, and a large romance collection. In addition to two adult book discussion groups, Thursdays for Books and African-American Authors, we also offer two children's book discussion groups, Second Chapter and BookEnds.Read More about the Southeast library
