The Brecksville Branch has a materials collection of 107,000 items and circulates almost 1,500 daily.
We offer free public programs for infants and their parents (Baby & Me), toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, teens, adults, and seniors. The children's area features a playhouse and toys. Artwork adorns the library, including Frederick Remington bronzes, a large kite sculpture, and a birdfeeder fashioned in the form of books. A fireplace warms the adult reading area. Recent improvements include extra public computers, an additional study room, a coffee machine, and self-checkout stations.

The Friends of the Brecksville Library group was founded by Mrs. Nancy Wessbecher, Mrs. Mildred Wertheim, and Mrs. Gretchen Green. The Friends' bylaws state that the objectives of the organization "shall be to promote better understanding in the community of the needs of the library, and to lead in the development of programs which will extend and improve the use of the library services and facilities."
