Science fiction and fantasy authors Geoffrey A. Landis and S. Andrew Swann (Steve Swiniarski) will discuss the nuts and bolts of writing science fiction and fantasy, the difference between short stories and novels, the state of science fiction publishing today, and what makes a good story.

Steven A. Swiniarski is the author of 17 science-fiction and fantasy novels, including the Cleveland-themed fantasy series Dragons of the Cuyahoga and The Dwarves of Whiskey Island. His works have appeared under several pen names, including S. Andrew Swann, S. A. Swiniarski, and Steven Krane.
Geoffrey A. Landis is the award-winning author of 75 short stories. His books include the novel Mars Crossing and the short story collection Impact Parameter(And Other Quantum Fictions).
