David McCullough, “master of the art of narrative history,” is a  National Book Award winning author and recipient of the
Presidential Medal of Freedom—the nation’s highest civilian award. 

McCullough has hosted Smithsonian World and The American Experience on public television and has written two Pulitzer Prize winning biographies, including Truman.
