Harry Guinther, like many young men of his generation, was on the brink of manhood when the War of the Century broke out. He enlisted, trained as a radio operator, was instructed in air gunnery and promptly packed off for combat missions in Europe. Little did Harry know all that was in store for him --parachuting from a burning plane, being captured and held prisoner --we'll let Harry tell you about it!
