Electric Music with Dave Young
GclefThursday, May 17th 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Musician Dave Young  with his keyboard, microphone and computer engages students in composing and creating music. All participants will be encouraged to sing, rap, or play the synthesizer keyboard, with all performances recorded and edited into a song using his mobile recording studio. An audio CD of this recording will be posted to the library's website.

Helping Families to Create Online Projects
Monday, May 21st 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Learn how to complete homework assignments and create projects online.  Capture online photos and videos and upload them to YouTube.  Join us for simple instructions to bring you into the online world of your student.  Pizza and light refreshments will be served.  Children in attendance will each receive a free book to take home.

Located in the same complex as the Civic Center, Recreation Center, and Historical Society, this branch is  conveniently located in the family-oriented city of Garfield Heights known as the "City of Trees." Our branch offers a variety of programs for all ages.

Friends of the Garfield Heights Branch

The Friends of the Garfield Heights Branch began in 1961 as a group eager to obtain a new facility for the Library. Since then it has been vital to the support of the library, sponsoring many programs and purchasing equipment and furniture for the facility.
