Electric Music with Dave YoungThursday, May 17th 7:00 PM - 8:00 PMMusician Dave Young with his keyboard, microphone and computer engages students in composing and creating music. All participants will be encouraged to sing, rap, or play the synthesizer keyboard, with all performances recorded and edited into a song using his mobile recording studio. An audio CD of this recording will be posted to the library's website.Register

The Friends of the Garfield Heights Branch began in 1961 as a group eager to obtain a new facility for the Library. Since then it has been vital to the support of the library, sponsoring many programs and purchasing equipment and furniture for the facility.
