Picture books are loved by people of all ages . The illustrators use many varied techniques in creating the art for the book. In this special 3 part program we will look at some famous picture books and their illustators. During each session participants will learn about the techniques used to create the featured illustrator's work and then create their own artwork that reflects that technique. When you register please register here for all three sessions. Presented by artist, printmaker and teacher, Mary Green.
Interested in sustainable living? This program is hands on and will teach the basics of making home-made cleaning supplies. Jeff Muhlbach will make a few items that the audience can try and provide recipes for all items made. Register here.
The Parma-Ridge Branch is one of three libraries in the city of Parma. Parma is the only community served by the Cuyahoga County Public Library System that has multiple branches. Although the Parma-Ridge branch is the smallest in the city, it does offer a full range of services including children's programming from birth through teen. The branch has all types of media for borrowing.
