All of our branches meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. We also offer Computer-Based Assistance and services to those with visual and hearing impairments on all of our public computers (including the Firefox browser: Firefox browser allows you to enlarge the text of any website by simultaneously pressing the "Ctrl" and the "+" keys on your keyboard).

Bookshare offers 89,851 digital books, textbooks, teacher-recommended reading, periodicals, and assistive technology tools.
Our library, in partnership with Bookshare and OverDrive (our technology partner for our Downloables Digital Collection), is pleased to introduce you to LEAP— the Library eBook Accessibility Program. One of the benefits of this program is 20 FREE downloads per month for 12 months from this expanded collection. You can access a non-graphical version of our catalog with screen-reading devices (or with the non-graphical browser, LYNX) through AirPAC, software that renders our catalog screens readable without graphics.
To further enhance, use the Firefox browser while in AirPAC for a text-only catalog with enlargeable text size.

Families of school-age children with Autism, Down syndrome, Sensory-processing disorder, Speech/language delays, Cognitive impairments, AD/HD or other special needs or challenges are welcome to join in these sensory programs at our Maple Hts. Branch Library.
The Toy Collection carries a wide variety of adaptive toys for children with special physical needs. Our selection includes battery-operated toys with switchplates, puppets, puzzles, and shape sorters.
To locate books in braille for children, go to our catalog and search by "Braille" with "Book" as the Material Type, sorting by "All Juvenile Materials."
Library2You is a free service for homebound individuals from Cuyahoga County Public Library which mails library materials to your home. Library2You is for impaired individuals who are unable to visit the library due to a permanent or temporary impairment or disability. Apply now

Are you a Cuyahoga County resident who is unable to visit the library for one of the following reasons?
If one of these categories applies to you, you are eligible for Library2You services.
Once you receive confirmation of your eligibility, the Library2You service may begin. You may contact your local branch for assistance with reserving materials or you may use the online catalog. It’s an easy, quick and convenient way to reserve materials.
The maximum total number of items you may have checked out is 50. For more information, please see Cuyahoga County Public Library’s borrowing guidelines
Once you are registered for the Library2You service, materials are sent in a reusable mail pouch through the United States Postal Service. The packages are delivered to your home by a United States Postal Service letter carrier.
The address card in the front envelope should be reversed so that the Library’s address and the return postage are showing. Deposit the mail pouch visibly in your mail box or near it for pick up by the United States Postal Service letter carrier. The Library will include an information sheet with each shipment covering return procedures.
Participants in Library2You are subject to the same loan policies and fine rates as other Cuyahoga County Public Library users.
