Don’t forget to read for fun!
Library book discussions are a great way to sharpen advanced speaking and reading skills!
Mango Languages
Lessons in English for Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish speakers and can be used from your own home with this database.
A library card number is required for free access.

Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)

are used by colleges and businesses to determine English proficiency.
The library has test guides for both the TOEIC and the TOEFL.

In 2008, the citizenship test changed.
The library has test guides for the new U.S. citizenship test.

Learn how to prepare for the citizenship test. A speaker from A Second Chance Immigration Services will discuss what you need to know and practical tips.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Classes
Beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of English instruction for adults. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills will be covered in free class sessions. Registration and Orientation is necessary before attending classes: new students are accepted throughout the year.
