About the Parma-Ridge Branch

The Parma-Ridge Branch is one of three libraries in the city of Parma. Parma is the only community served by the Cuyahoga County Public Library System that has multiple branches. Although the Parma-Ridge branch is the smallest in the city, it does offer a full range of services including children's programming from birth through teen. The branch has all types of media for borrowing.

Homework Center

The Homework Center is now open Monday through Thursday. Please call 440-888-4300 for more information.

GED classes

Mondays and Thursdays beginning October 1st 9:30-11:30 AM Runs through November. No class November 26th. Contact Parma ABLE at 440-885-8797 to sign up and for more information.

ESOL classes

Basics of the English Language Mondays and Thursdays beginning October 1 12-2 PM. Runs through November. No class November 26th.

In the Community Learn the English language as you explore the Parma area. Wednesdays 9:30 AM-12:00 PM beginning October 14th. Contact Parma ABLE at 440-885-8797 to sign up and for more information.

Friends of the Parma Libraries was organized in 1961 as a non-profit organization that is composed of persons interested in strengthening the libraries in the Parma area, enhancing the collections, and promoting the use of library services and facilities.

Friends Booksale

The next Friends Booksale is Saturday November 14 from 9:00-10:00 (Friends) and 10:00-2:00 (Community). Senior Booksale: Friday November 13 from 3:00-4:00 for seniors 65 years and older who are members of the Friends. Seniors need to bring ID with age on it plus their Friends membership card, or for $5 they can join the Friends group at the sale.
