John Green is the New York Times bestselling author of the young adult novels Looking for Alaska, for which he received the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award; An Abundance of Katherines; and Paper Towns, for which he received a 2009 Edgar Award. His sixth novel, The Fault in Our Stars, debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list in 2012, and was followed by a hit film adaptation starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. In 2014, Time Magazine named Green to its list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.
