The Fairview Park Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library is a 44,000 square foot facility which specializes in genealogy. Special features at our branch are quiet study rooms, several art pieces, a story/craft room, and a large aquarium maintained by the Friends of the Library.

Our lower level includes two meeting rooms and a conference room. In addition, computer classes are held in our lower level training room on a regular basis.

A Local Library Board organized on April 7, 1937. Fairview became a branch in the high school at West 213th & Campus Avenue in 1938 under Sarah J. Painter, Librarian (1938-1941). The Local Board merged with Cuyahoga County Public Library on September 1, 1949. Through the years, the library then moved to the following locations:
