Our "Imagine Your Story" summer reading program begins on May 30. This year's program will look a little different than in years past, but participants will still have the opportunity to log their reading minutes, earn prizes and badges, and enjoy reading books and eBooks throughout the summer. This year we are also introducing weekly STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) video challenges you can enjoy from home. A new challenge will be posted each week to our YouTube channel and STEAM challenges page

Please know that your health and safety are our top priorities. We continue to take precautions against the spread of COVID-19, so you can enjoy summer reading safely.

Step 1: Register

This year we will have only two registration options. As a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, registration forms will not be made available.

OPTION 1: Register online. Online registration will begin on Saturday, May 30
OPTION 2: Call one of our 13 drive-up or curbside service locations beginning Monday, June 8, and a staff person will help you register over the phone.

Step 2: Track Your Reading

•Participants of all ages may track their reading online in 20 minute increments, beginning Saturday, May 30. Online participants will earn badges. The more you read, the more badges you'll earn.
•Printed summer reading gameboards will be available for YOUTH ONLY at our 13 drive-up or curbside service locations, beginning June 8. We will not be stamping gameboards this year. Participants can mark an "X" on their gameboards for every 20-minutes they read

Step 3: Track Your STEAM Activities

Each week we'll share a new STEAM video challenge to complete. STEAM video challenges will be posted to our website and YouTube channel. You can track your STEAM activities in two ways:

•Log into your summer reading account to record your completed STEAM activities online.
•Mark an "X" on your summer reading gameboard for every STEAM activity you complete.

Please note: additional prizes may be added after the start of the program.
