Military Resource Fair

Friday, September 14 —  9 am - noon at the Parma-Snow Branch.

Join us for a Military Resource Fair co-hosted by State Representative Marlene Anielski. The event will feature a variety of organizations geared towards helping those who have served or are serving our country, any era, as well as their spouses and families. Agency representatives and local businesses will be present that can help with benefit questions, employment agencies, and other military-related areas.  REGISTER HERE.

Attendees should plan to bring DD 214 or NGB 22 discharge papers. If discharge papers are not available, please bring the social security card of the military personnel.

In-Person Assistance

The Veterans Service Commission of Cuyahoga County will have a representative in these branches from 9:00-3:00 to assist military, veterans, and their families (no appointment needed):

Assistance is available in these areas and many others:

  • Discuss and/or help file for various VA Benefits and Claims
  • Temporary Financial Assistance
  • Transportation (bus tickets) for VA medical appointments
