Locations

BAY VILLAGE BRANCH 

The Bay Village Branch StoryWalk® is presented with support from the Friends of the Bay Village Library. The StoryWalk® runs along the exterior of the branch and features the story Pumpkin Trouble written by Jan Thomas.

BEACHWOOD CITY PARK EAST  

The Beachwood City Park East StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Beachwood Branch in collaboration with the City of Beachwood. The park is located on Richmond Road between Shaker Boulevard eastbound and westbound. The StoryWalk® runs along the walking path near Barkwood Dog Park. Currently, the walk features Ogilvy, written by Deborah Underwood and illustrated by T.L. McBeth.

MARQUARDT PARK (BROOKLYN)

The Brooklyn Branch StoryWalk® is located at Marquardt Park and is presented with support from the Friends of the Brooklyn Library, Brooklyn Kiwanis Club and city of Brooklyn Recreation Department. The current story is The Nest That Wren Built, written by Randi Sonenshine and illustrated by Anne Hunter.

COE LAKE PARK (BEREA)

The Coe Lake Park StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Berea Branch in collaboration with the City of Berea and with support from the Friends of the Berea Library. It currently features The Big Storm: A Very Soggy Counting Book by Nancy Tafuri.

ELLENWOOD RECREATION CENTER (BEDFORD)

The Ellenwood Recreation Center StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Southeast Branch in collaboration with the Bedford Parks & Recreation Department and with support from the Friends of the Southeast Library. The StoryWalk is located on the nature trail behind the Ellenwood Recreation Center pavilion on Ellenwood Avenue.

GARFIELD HEIGHTS HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Garfield Heights Historical Society StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Garfield Heights Branch in collaboration with the city of Garfield Heights and with support from the Friends of the Garfield Heights Library. The Garfield Heights Historical Society is located on Turney Road just north of the Garfield Heights Branch. Currently, the walk features The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle.

GARFIELD HEIGHTS WILLIAM FOSTER ELEMENTARY

The Garfield Heights William Foster Elementary StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Garfield Heights Branch with support from the Friends of the Garfield Heights Library. William Foster Elementary is located on Bangor Avenue just east of the Garfield Heights Branch.

LIBERTY PLAYGROUND (INDEPENDENCE)

The Liberty Playground StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Independence Branch in collaboration with the City of Independence and with support from the Friends of Independence Library. Liberty Playground is located northwest of the Independence Branch.

MAPLE HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPUS 

The Maple Heights Elementary School StoryWalk® is presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Maple Heights Branch in collaboration with Maple Heights City Schools and with support from Friends of the Maple Heights Library. The StoryWalk® begins at the entrance to Abraham Lincoln Elementary and ends at the entrace to John F. Kennedy Elementary. The current story is I Got the School Spirit by Connie Schofield-Morrison and illustrated by Frank Morrison.

MAYFIELD BRANCH 

The Mayfield Branch StoryWalk® is presented in collaboration with Mayfield Village and with support from the Friends of the Mayfield Library, Inc. The StoryWalk®  begins at the Mayfield Branch and continues south along the Bruce G. Rinker Greenway.

ORANGE BRANCH

Fall is a busy time of year. Read about how squirrel gets ready for winter in The Busy Little Squirrel by Nancy Tafuri. The Orange Branch StoryWalk® follows the perimeter of the building around to the pollinator garden and is presented with support from the Friends of the Orange Branch Library.

PARMA HEIGHTS BRANCH

The Parma Heights Branch StoryWalk® is presented with generous support from the Friends of the Parma Heights Library and in collaboration with the City of Parma Heights. It runs along the tree line next to the branch, beginning at the bicycle rack, and features the story E-I-E-I-O: How Old MacDonald Got His Farm, written by Judy Sierra and illustrated by Matthew Myers.

PARMA-SNOW (JOHN GLENN PARK)

The Parma-Snow Branch StoryWalk® features the story I Went Walking by Sue William, which is illustrated by Julie Vivas. The StoryWalk® is currently in place at John Glenn Park in Seven Hills.

The Solon Branch StoryWalk® begins to the right of the entrance to the branch and features the story Chugga Chugga Choo Choo by Emma Garcia. It is presented in collaboration with support from the Friends of the Solon Library.
