READ + WRITE: 30 DAYS OF POETRY Read + Write 30 Days of Poetry logo

‚ÄčEvery April (National Poetry Month), our READ + WRITE: 30 Days of Poetry project, presented in collaboration with Northeast Ohio poet Diane Kendig, seeks to connect readers with the poets and poetry of Northeast Ohio. Each day we share the work of Ohio's best poets and provide fun poetry writing exercises to spark your creativity.

We thank all of the many talented writers who contributed their poetry to this project over the years, and invite readers to explore and enjoy their work.

The William N. Skirball Writer's Center is home to the Poetry Workshop at Cuyahoga County Public Library, one of the longest-running public poetry workshops in the country. In 2018, the Poetry Workshop is celebrating its 45th anniversary.

The poems of workshop participants are collected annually in chapbook format. Recent editions are available here, for your reading enjoyment.
