AN EMPTY SILENCE...
by Russell Vidrick
An empty silence has
entered my house and
the moon walks across
my days, as I wait for you
to unfold your umbrella of
hyacinth hair and cherry
blossom dreams to fall
like plums on the softened
ground of my lonely hours.
